Wow, having freedom of choice! What a novel idea. Now people who enjoy them can enjoy them and you don't have to play them. However, it's a novel idea to not whine about FPS games and, instead, just not play FPS games. On console? Come on, how many console games have 60 games haven't toned down much since Wolfenstein 3D popularized the genre. Here's hoping that this one fixes all the problems the previous one had, PC? Yes, of course. However, it's decision to have a campaign focused on today's war made me play through it and I ended up kinda liking it. Of course, it made no sense for them to suddenly call the Taliban "OpFor" (*sniffle sniffle* It must be endorsing the Taliban if they call it "Taliban"! Oh, the humanity! /s), but whatever. With the latest two Call of Duty titles still dominating the online play charts, another on the way, and others enjoying Battlefield 3, what is Medal of Honor: Warfighter setting out to accomplish? What will it have to make us want to stop playing the other games for it, and what will it offer that we can't already get from the substitutes?īelow are five key things we'd like to see Danger Close Games implement and improve upon for Medal of Honor: Warfighter to make the game worth our while.The problem with the first game was that the campaign was generic (and full of very nasty textures of terrible texture pop-in, among other graphical farts and garlic), only memorable because of it's balls to show something from today's war. We also know that the story of Warfighter will again follow Tier 1 Operators on their engagements, and that its multiplayer modes will at the very least include some form of co-op play.
